The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) announced the United States would increase existing tariffs on Chinese goods by 5% on October 1.  The 25% tariffs on Lists 1, 2 and 3, tariffs will increase to 30%.    Tranche 4 will jump from 10% to 15%, effective on the already scheduled dates for tariff increases on these imports, either September 1 for List 4A, or December 15th for List 4B.
