I.T. – This committee is broken down into 4 sub-committees.  This is the best way to get involved with the Association.   This important committee needs many volunteers so that we can effectively keep our members apprised of all of the work the Board and our committees do behind the scenes.                 Weekly E-blast:  Maintain contact database in Constant Contact and help to put together the Monday E-blast.  Have you pondered a career in journalism??….this is the opportunity for you!                  

AIFBA Website Maintenance:   Maintain job postings and approve new website registrations.   Assist with web design and development, and uploading of webinar presentations, CBP pipelines and CSMS messages.                 

Social Media:   Update Facebook and Linked In with new posts/meetings.  We currently do not Tweet but it’s not out of the question.  If President Trump can do it, so can we!   We are looking for socially responsible    millenials to assist with proofing, editing and posting.

Terminals:   Virtual and/or in-person meetings with airlines, CFSs, truckers and other entities in the supply chain to focus on improving logistics in Atlanta.  The group will also liase with Kale Logistics to provide relevant updates on the Cargo Community System.  
Customs:   Monthly virtual meeting with CBP and PGAs to discuss hot topics in the trade community.    

Education:    NEI points application for webinars and correspondence with potential sponsors for webinars.  This committee will be potentially house other PGA subcommittees such as CPSC, F&W, AMS, etc.   If you have expertise with PGAs and would like support of our trade community, please reach out! 
FDA:  Virtual and in-person meetings with FDA, as needed.   

Planning:   Holiday meeting planning, Spring picnic (if possible), promotional items, and charitable contributions.  We anticipate this will be a very active committee as we investigate new ways to meet the Association’s missions in the Covid-19 environment.  We are looking for volunteers with creative ideas and event planning skills.  
Membership:  Maintain membership list and assist the Chairperson with new membership campaigns.  

Government affairs:  Coordinate meetings and correspondence with our Senators and Congressmen.
