NCBFAA asks its entire membership to donate blood to the Red Cross today in the name of longtime past Board Member Ken Bargteil for his dedication to and passion for our industry.

“More than ever, the Red Cross needs blood donations and what better way to do this then by honoring one of our own,” said NCBFAA President Jan Fields.

When you donate blood at your local Red Cross, be sure to mention that your donation is done in the name of “Kenneth Bargteil of Glen Burnie, Maryland.” NCBFAA challenges its members nationwide to donate 500 pints of blood for this special drive.

Ken was Chairman Emeritus and Area 3 Member of the NCBFAA Customs Committee. He served an unprecedented 10-year term as Chairman of that Committee. He was a Charter Member of the NCBFAA Educational Institute (NEI) and served as CCS Content Committee Chairman. He also received the Centurion Award, the NCBFAA’s highest honor.

AIFBA: We’re planning something as the AIFBA community, but please feel free to do it on your own, as well.
