Changes to Service Contracts with Ocean Carriers:

It has come to the NCBFAA’s attention that some of our members (particularly our smaller members) are encountering attempts by ocean carriers to amend, alter or otherwise deviate from agreed-to terms and conditions in valid service contracts. We understand in some cases, carriers are seeking to cancel existing contracts, as well. 

The Association is attempting to document such occurrences (in accordance with our antitrust compliance protocols), so that we may review same with Counsel and, once substantiated, alert the FMC to this action and ask for some form of intervention.
