Harmonized System Update (HSU) 2119 Due to multiple inquiries our office is providing additional information regarding the Harmonized System Updates (HSU). Several areas performed updates in the system resulting in numerous HSU. These HSU had comingled data and/or missing information. Harmonized System Update (HSU) 2119 resolved these issues. Read the CSMS Here. ![]() ACE Portal Modernization: Phase 1 Coming January 22 On January 22, 2022, CBP deployed Phase 1 of the modernization of the ACE Secure Data Portal (ACE Portal). These enhancements will include a new login screen, a new home page, and upgraded account information display and edit features. On the new login screen, users will follow a few simple steps to create a new username and password and link their existing ACE Portal access. Users will have one month to link their accounts and transition to using the new login page. Beginning February 20, 2022, users will no longer be able to log in from the legacy login page. Users will have access to the legacy ACE Portal through a link in the modernized ACE Portal. The legacy ACE Portal will be decommissioned once all functionality has been transitioned to the modernized ACE Portal. During this transition period, CBP will continuously synchronize data between both versions. The Trade Transformation Office (TTO) will conduct a Deployment Support Call for trade users on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, from 2pm – 3pm ET. Read the CSMS Here. ![]() Information on Coming Changes to Trade User Responses to CBP Forms 28, 29 and 4647 On January 29, 2022, CBP will implement changes to the electronic process for reviewing entry summaries. While the majority of these changes only affect CBP users, until the new ACE forms application is completed in April 2022, trade users will also see a change in how responses to CBP Forms 28, 29 and 4647 (issued by CBP through the ACE Portal) may be submitted. Beginning on January 29, trade users will no longer be able to submit responses directly through the ACE Portal, and electronic responses will only be available through DIS (via EDI or email submission). Once the new ACE forms application is deployed in April 2022 (to be accessed via the ACE Portal), trade users will have the option to directly respond to CBP Forms 28, 29 and 4647 through the new application. Read the CSMS Here. ![]() Updated ACE CATAIR Reconciliation Error Dictionary The ACE CATAIR Reconciliation Error Dictionary has been updated under the Supporting Documents tab on cbp.gov. The following have been added to the Error Dictionary: *Condition Code 345 – “ASSOC ES MUST BE RECONCILED IN PR PORT”.
