NCSD August 2022 Webinars
The Office of Trade’s National Commodity Specialist Division and the Office of Trade Relations is excited to present a series of approximately 40 commodity-specific, educational webinars to support Customs and Border Protection’s internal and external customers. The webinars began in February and will run through September 2022. Each webinar will be approximately an hour. Information on the Deployment of ACE Collections – Release 6 Refunds
On August 27, 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will deploy Collections Release 6 – Refunds to the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE). This release will impact the Office of Finance and Office of Field Operations and will have some impact on the Trade community. For Trade users, this release will: Provide visibility into refund history within ACE Reports starting with Release 6 and onward. The Trade can access the report through their ACE Secure Data Portal Account. Automated Clearinghouse (ACH) refunds will no longer override the 4811 on file.  No changes to refund timelines. No updates to the CATAIR.

In preparation for the upcoming deployment of Collections Release 6 to ACE, CBP will be hosting a Pre-Deployment Support Call for the Trade on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. ET. Please join the meeting using this meeting link. Participants are encouraged to join at the start of the call when ACE Collections will provide a brief deployment status update. A question-and-answer segment will follow. Calls may end early if all questions have been addressed.
