NCBFAA wishes those individuals taking the next Customs and Border Protection (CBP) customs brokers license exam on April 27 the best of luck and we look forward to hopefully welcoming many of you into the club!

CBP is available at brokermanagement@cbp.dhs.gov for any exam-related questions you may have. Also, the agency’s website has a webpage dedicated to exam information, which is a good resource.

Examinees should check out 19CFR 12.98 (c) for an oldie but goodie exam question. It is often referred to as the “one-handed man” provision.

The April 27 customs broker license exam will be offered on-site only. CBP said it is “dedicated to the ongoing modernization” of the customs broker license exam and intends to offer a remotely-proctored option at a later date.
